Lori and Travis found me through the horse show world – Lori’s sister is a horsewoman and remembered me from an event where I was the official photographer.

Their wedding took place in Raleigh, at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic church. Such a beautiful venue – and the lighting was amazing!

Lori was probably the “smiliest” bride I’ve ever seen! She was just that excited to be marrying Travis!

After the wedding party portraits, the bride and groom were making their way back up the aisle when I snapped this candid shot (on the right).

Travis and Lori had opted for an outdoor wedding reception at nearby Anderson Point Park.

Lori wanted to get a few shots of her playing football in her wedding dress! Love it!

Congratulations you two! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!

Remember Jessica and Matt? They were married in April of this year! I admit, I am a little behind in blogging but am going to do my best to remedy that in the next few days.

As the hour grew near, the excitement was palpable!

The first dance is always one of my favorite parts of the evening. The lighting over the dance floor was beautiful and you can see how happy the newlyweds are.

Matt’s band provided the entertainment for the evening.

And then Matt had a special song to sing for Jessica.
